ENGLISH IMMERSION STUDIES
Pima is a diverse school, serving many students whose first language is not English. The English Immersion Studies Program assists second language learners in the development of reading, writing, and speaking skills in the English language. Currently, two English Immersion specialists and teacher assistants, as well as certified ESL teachers and other teachers trained in second language acquisition work with students on a daily basis to improve their English language skills and assist them with all of their content area subjects.
