Pima has two PC based computer labs. Students spend time in the labs on a regular basis learning new technology skills, word processing, and using one of several programs designed to improve basic skills in reading, math, and writing. Pima has a comprehensive list of technology skills that are taught and assessed at each individual grade level. Keyboarding is emphasized in grades 3-6.
Software commonly used by Pima students includes Accelerated Reader, Bernie's Typing, Microtype Pro, Learning.com, Knowledgebox, Successmaker, and Math Facts in a Flash.
